    Tips for a clear 20 KB file

    • For a signature, sign in dark ink on plain white paper, crop close around it and remove empty margins before compressing.
    • For a photo, crop to head and shoulders first. A photo around 200 to 300 pixels wide stays sharp at 20 KB, while a 4000-pixel photo squeezed to the same size looks smudged.
